The model I've developed and refined over the past decade is a versatile approach suitable for a wide range of learning formats. Whether you're planning an e-learning program, an online training course, a blended learning experience, or a traditional face-to-face training, this approach serves as my best practice.

As you are aware, visual learning is often the most effective way for people to grasp concepts. That's why the following process revolves around six key images:

 

1. To begin, I recommend starting with a comprehensive analysis of your target group. I can provide you with a Canvas structure that streamlines the process of understanding your learners efficiently.

 

2. In the second step, I reference Bloom's learning objectives but offer a simplified, visualized version in the form of a pyramid. This approach is designed to enhance efficiency in the learning design process.

 

3. Step three involves a creative and straightforward method for curating content for your chosen format. It also employs the "fishnets" method to help you trim and refine your content effectively.

 

4. The fourth step utilizes the "shoes" metaphor, aiding you in structuring and aligning your content while considering key didactic principles.

 

5. Step five focuses on methods and their seamless integration into the learning format. I can provide method manuals tailored to e-learning, onsite training, and online training, ensuring a rich and engaging learning experience.

 

6. Finally, I use the metaphor of a horseshoe to guide you through the production of multimedia elements, ensuring a well-rounded and polished final product. This refined model is designed to enhance your training and learning design process, regardless of the specific format you choose.
